Our Philosophy

Tiger Land child care in Katy provides a superior environment for nurturing children’s growth and development. Our atmosphere is positive, joyful, safe and filled with fun. Our staff encourages children to develop a secure and positive attitude about themselves and those around them. Our classroom environment is structured, yet flexible, and our activities are very “hands-on.”

We are strong believers that children learn through play. Our program presents developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for children to develop the social skills to be successful in school and life. We believe that children thrive on meeting challenges and succeeding!

We go the extra mile for your children because we know how precious your children are to you. Throughout the day, we are here to share smiles and to give your children a hand to hold until we return them safely to your arms at the end of the day.

Come and see the Tiger Land difference for yourself!

Our History

Tiger Land has been an integral part of the Katy community since 1984 and we now have many 2nd generation family members in attendance. Tiger Land has a special place in Katy as we have been a home-away-from-home for many of the current community leaders and Katy school age and college children. Former students drop by regularly to reminisce and see our School directors and teachers. Our Directors, Ms. Jane and Ms. Cheryl, have both been here more than 30 years and several other teachers have been at Tiger Land for more than 10+ years. Several of our current teachers and teacher’s aides were former students themselves at Tiger Land. We often have former students drop by for lunch hoping to catch a day when Mom is serving her famous home-made enchiladas for lunch.

Tiger Land is also involved in many Katy area charities, social events and school functions. We regularly sponsor nearby Katy school events and other charitable organizations. We are the perennial sponsor of the Children’s Stick Races at the Katy Rodeo in February each year and we are a main sponsor of the City of Katy 4th of July Katy Freedom Celebration every Independence Day.  We are also large supports of Katy ISD’s FFA program on an annual basis.
